Gene Doll “At Home for the Holidays” Hostess Capri's & Gown NIB #76084 Cert #1969 ~ open link!

Gene is at “Home for the Holidays” in this cocktail-style hostess outfit with luxurious overskirt. Circa 1957. The top is made of an iridescent taffeta of lavender and ruby; (not seen in the Photo’s): the mid-calf Capri style pants are of lavender satin. Long sleeves gathered above the wrist, emerge from the angled neckline of the fitted bodice. The daring neckline ends in a lavender bow accented by a multi-colored brooch.
The outfit includes lavender lace-up heels, multi stoned bracelet and “ruby & gold” drop earrings. Note: the little white dot in the photo of the hem is simply a removable slip stitch to hold the skirts in place for shipment.
The outfit is stunning!
At Home for the Holidays comes with a Certificate of Authenticity #1969 and a brochure that shares Gene’s dream of coming she came “Home for the Holidays". Also included is a brief biography of Mel Odom the creator of Gene.

This beautiful outfit comes in a beautiful black cardboard shadow box with the Gene logo on the front and wrapped with an elastic string tied around the cello cover. The box is in pristine condition and even comes with the original shipping box!

Gene’s biggest fans don’t care at all that she’s a sensation from coast to coast. Her beloved dogs Dottie & Dashiell love Gene just the way she is! They love it when Gene clips the leashes onto their jeweled collars for a stroll along the immaculately landscaped avenues of Beverly Hills. Dahiell, a Scotch terrier, like the Roosevelt’s family pet Fala, trots along at a brisk pace, his black curls gleaming with health. Dottie, a white West Highland terrier, fairly bounces with excitement.

Their faux fur is a plush fluff and they have black button eyes. They measure 4x3” each. They come with a Certificate of Authenticity # K07796

Avon Summer Fruit Collection Plate ~open link! Raspberries In Pristine condition, this Avon Collection Plate depicts a big basket of raspberries and pink flowers.

It is a beautiful richly colored image! The back has the words Avon Summer Fruit Collection Plate. Avon 1985. A sprig of a raspberry vine is centered on the back in a raspberry color. It is 8.25” in diameter and weighs 13 oz
No chips, cracks or crazing! Very pretty!

This fun “robins egg blue” outfit, still in its original box, has never been removed. The velvet jacket, pants and interchangeable short set is in absolutely pristine condition. As you can see in the pictures the outfit comes with matching shoes, button “pearl” earrings, a pill box hat with a tassel and megaphone! Usherette comes with a Certificate of Authenticity #H07231 and a brochure that shares Gene’s dream of coming to New York and “looked for a job that would get her noticed in the movie industry…a job as an usherette.” Also included is a brief biography of Mel Odom the creator of Gene.

This coral Tango gown, still in its original box, has never been removed. This silken formal dress is in absolutely pristine condition. As you can see in the pictures the gown comes with matching shoes, seamed stockings, hoop earrings, a necklace and shawl..all in the same coral color! The Tango comes with a Certificate of Authenticity #E10539 and a brochure that shares the “Tango Story”. Also is a brief biography of Mel Odom the creator of Gene.

I have just gotten back from a 2 week tour throughout the West : Went to Hollywood and saw the Craig Ferguson Show! Disneyland on my birthday! ...it is free on your birthday this year! Peoria, Sedona, AZ, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Yosemite..It was a great time!

Tip about Disnyeland: The best way to see Disneyland is in a electric wheel chair that you can rent there! It is your car! No sore feet at the end of the day! and as an added bonus you can choose to go to the front of any ride lines! Of course, if you are not really layed up for some reason this is sort of unfair to the others...so don't just use the chair to get to the front of the line, but Randy had a cane and bad leg (just had a broken leg) and so needed it anyway. But anyone can rent one, just to have the comfort throughout the day and always a chair! I borrowed his too for quick errands, or to go walk the dog at the Disneyland kennel! that's right they even have a Disneyland kennel!!

It was a very fun day!
